Use Corridor Optimisation for InfraWorks 360 (Preview) to plan a design road's optimal horizontal path based on parameters you define.
The Corridor Optimisation analysis defines a boundary area around the corridor you specify. This area is analysed to determine the optimised corridor. You can adjust the corridor start and end as well as the size of the analysis boundary area. For best results, tighten the project boundary to fit the selected road, especially if a road to be optimised is short.
Corridor Optimisation (preview) can not be performed on roads that have already been added with the
Design Carriageways tools.

to define new start and end points and then click in the model to place the points. The new path appears in the Path list. Double-click the name to rename it.
Tighten the boundary area to include only the area to analyse for corridor placement.

The values you set will be used to calculate your optimisation results. For more information, see the topic on construction and earthwork costs.
