Summary

Helius PFA was used to generate matrix and fiber failure indices for each integration point in a composite plate.

Three procedures specific to Helius PFA were used:

1. A composite user material was defined (Define a User Material).
2. State variable output to the database file (.op2) was requested (Prepare the Analysis).
3. Patran was used to plot the fiber and matrix failure indices across all plies using an envelope plot (View and Interpret Results).
