To change bridge type

You can select Precast Concrete Girder or Steel Plate Girder as a bridge type. Changing bridge type causes Bridge Design to recalculate the material quantities needed to build the bridge.

To change bridge type

1. Select the bridge to display the Bridge asset card.
2. Click in the Utility Bar to enter Edit Mode.
3. Under the Attributes section, expand the drop-down list next to the Type field.
4. Click a bridge type to apply to your bridge.

   Bridge Type	Maximum Span
   Precast I Girder Bridge	35 meters
   Steel Plate Girder Bridge	50 meters (*setting Steel Plate Girder Bridge span greater than 80 meters will create a variable depth girder.)

Additional tips

Changing the type of an existing bridge (for example, from Precast I Girder to Steel Plate Girder) will cause Bridge Design for InfraWorks 360 to recalculate the material quantities needed. See To review bridge material quantities for more information.
