About Editing Horizontal Design Road Geometry

Edit the horizontal geometry of a design road in any of the following ways:

• Drag Manipulators

  Select a design road and display it in plan view. Use manipulators on the line to modify the horizontal geometry.

• Enter or Select Values

  Click a manipulator to display toolbars for values such as radius and coordinates.

  Right-click a curve to display a context menu with a slider to set the curve radius or spiral length.

• Add, Remove, and Change Elements

  Right-click a line or curve to display options for adding or removing elements, or for changing the type of element.

• View Curve Properties

  Right-click a curve and click Curve Properties to display the Curve Properties panel. This panel displays the horizontal curve properties and geometry.

  The values on the Curve Properties panel are read only. To change the properties, use the in-canvas editing options such as manipulators and toolbars.
