There are several ways to edit an intersection, for example you can increase the size of the turning space by selecting a bigger design vehicle. Of course, you can also adjust the radii of the different legs of the intersection and you will learn how to do that as well in this exercise.
Zoom into the central four-way intersection.
Click the intersection to select it and display the asset card.
Under Design Vehicle, scroll to the right until you can see the picture of the SU-12 truck.
Click SU-12 to update the intersection.
The intersection is enlarged to make enough space for this size vehicle.
Scroll back left and select the P image.
P is for passenger car and is the default vehicle.
Click away from the intersection to deselect it and have a look at the lane markings.
Select the intersection again and change the Edit Mode from Geometry to Lane Markings.
Deselect Extend Into Intersection.
Click away from the intersection to see the results.
The lane markings are removed.
Select the intersection again and change the Edit Mode back to Geometry.
Select the lower left quadrant of the intersection.
Grips appear so that you can edit this turning zone.
Grab the center (cyan) grip and drag to a radius of about 25m.
Deselect the intersection so that you can see the results.
Select the same quadrant and drag the lower (magenta) grip to increase the length of the turning zone.
Deselect the intersection to see the results.
Select the quadrant again and then click the Reset State to Default arrow on the asset card.
This is a quick way to undo any editing of a turning zone.
