To create a local copy of a cloud model

You can Duplicate an existing cloud model, which creates a local, disconnected copy of that model.

As a best practice it is recommended to follow this procedure before deleting a cloud model and its cache, so that you can preserve a local copy of the cloud model.

  1. Click to Duplicate the cloud model.
  2. When prompted, click and choose a local directory or mapped network drive to store the local, disconnected copy of the cloud model.
  3. Click OK.
Note: You can re-connect this disconnected local copy of your cloud model by publishing it to a design group. See: To publish a local model to the Autodesk 360 cloud.
  4. You can now delete the cloud model and its cache if you want to.
