Motion Graphics in Maya is a full suite of 3D motion design tools for creating unique, custom animations for advertising and broadcasting. Motion graphics involve elements like text, 2D vector drawings, or object reproductions.
You can use the new MASH plugin to quickly create and tweak a wide range of procedural animations, including positional noise, audio driven scaling, mesh distribution and per-face explosion, and much more. These are especially useful for designing motion graphics or performing procedural modeling. See Mash Overview.
The new Send to AE command makes it easy to transfer compatible scene elements like cameras, lights, meshes, and more to Adobe® After Effects® via a JSON script. You can also add / remove elements from the export on the fly using the MayaToAE selection set. See Send to Adobe After Effects.
