Materials: Rod Eye, Clevis, and Retainer

In this step, we assign ASTM A36 steel to the rod eye, clevis, and retainer parts.

1. From the ribbon, click Selection (tab) Select (panel) Parts.

   

2. Select the rod eye. While holding Ctrl, select the clevis and retainer.

   

3. Right-click in the display area, and select Edit Material.

   

4. Expand the Steel and ASTM branches. Select Steel (ASTM - A36), and click OK.

   

5. When asked to confirm, click Yes.
6. Press the Esc key to clear the parts selection.
