To specify settings related to 3D display, structural segments, pole placement, and sweeps, set any of the following options.
Enhanced 3D Pole Modeling |
When true, will generate 3D poles without non-uniform vertical scaling, supporting EXPLODE and more accurate clearance analysis. All poles will be positioned with the bottom of the pole at their buried depth. If no 3D Model block is assigned to the pole model a dynamically generated solid will be created with bottom and top diameter controlled by the pole's Dimension 2 and Dimension 3 values. Otherwise, when false, the poles will be generated with non-uniform vertical scaling to position the bottom of the pole at ground line and top according to pole height. If no 3D Model is assigned to the pole model, the default EL_POLE block will be used. |
Show 3D sag scenarios |
Indicates which sag scenarios should be displayed for wires in 3D view. Set to a comma separated list of sag scenario names. If not set, the load case scenario which has the smallest minimum clearance to ground will be shown. |
Show clearance lines |
When set to true, a vertical line will be generated for each displayed sag scenario catenary from the lowest point on the catenary to the ground. If set to false, no clearance lines will be generated. |
Solid 3D wires |
When true, all 3D wire objects will be generated as swept solids based on the wire diameter. Otherwise, when false, the wire objects will be generated as polylines. |
Use rectangular clearance envelope |
Indicates whether the clearance envelope generated by AUDCLEARANCE is rectangular or circular. If True, the generated clearance envelope will be a rectangle with sides equal to the horizontal and vertical clearance given. If False, the default circular envelope will be generated. |
Merge segments |
It indicates if the segments are merged when the ends of some segments are coincident. |
Raise Pole by Default |
Indicates the default resolution in leveling if attachments are higher than the pole top. When leveling determines that the highest attachments exceed the maximum height allowed for the pole, two different resolutions are available. If this setting is true, the default resolution is to raise the pole height to meet the pole top attachment's clearance requirement; otherwise, the default resolution is to move all attachments down, and keep the pole height unchanged. If false, the attachments will also be lowered by default when the pole model is changed to a smaller pole. |
Maximum Span |
If the "Use preferred span length" is set to true, consecutive poles will be auto-placed within this distance when draw an overhead line. But if the conductor's or cable's model attribute "Max Span" is smaller than this value, the "Max Span" attribute will be used instead. |
Minimum Plausible Span |
The minimum value that the Maximum Span can be set to. User is not allowed to specify a value that is smaller than this value for "Preferred span length" on the Ribbon. |
Overhead spans are equal-size |
It indicates whether to create overhead spans with equal distance. If true, all the span distances are equal and no more than the maximum span value; and if false, all the span distances except the last one are equal to the maximum span value, while the last span may be less. |
Use preferred span length |
If true, it will use "Maximum Span" value to place consecutive poles; and if false, it will use the conductor's or cable's model attribute "Max Span" to place consecutive poles. |
Endpoint Angle Tolerance |
If the angle between the duct's 3D geometry and the port direction is no more than this tolerance, it will generate arc to connect the duct and the port in 3D view; otherwise Sweep handler will report a notice that it can't generate arc for this bend. |
Endpoint Distance Tolerance |
If the distance between the duct's endpoint and the port is no more than this tolerance, it will generate arc to connect the duct and the port in 3D view; otherwise Sweep handler will report a notice that it can't generate arc for this bend. |
Sweep Creation Minimum Angle |
Auto-create sweep when adjoining ducts exceed this angle. |
Vertical sweep for aboveground structure |
Auto-create vertical sweep when duct runs to above ground structure. |
Vertical sweep for other structure |
Auto-create vertical sweep when duct runs to non-overhead, non-underground, non-above ground structure. |
Vertical sweep for overhead structure |
Auto-create vertical sweep when duct runs to overhead structure. |
Vertical sweep for underground structure |
Auto-create vertical sweep when duct runs to underground structure. |
