Rehab and Crossfall Optimisation Subassemblies

Use these subassemblies to rehabilitate roads and/or optimise the crossfall of roads.

Generally speaking, these rehab and crossfall optimisation subassemblies provide an easier way to perform rehab design and analysis in your rehab corridor optimisation workflows. These subassemblies are designed to help you to determine ideal design lane crossfall outputs through improved flapping calculations and have additional parameters that other overlay subassemblies don't. Use the AECCIMPORTNEWREHABCONTENT command to add these subassemblies to the Tool Palette.

You may notice the term 'flapping' being used in Overlay Slope Options for these subassemblies. Flapping in this case is a term used to describe how the Corrected Crossfall for the overlay layer in a rehab subassembly is calculated. Flapping outcomes are different, relative to the Slope Tolerance and the Slope Difference between existing ground crossfall and ideal crossfall. If the Slope Difference is less than the Slope Tolerance for the subassembly, then the use case is considered 'within tolerance'. If the Slope Difference is greater than the Slope Tolerance for the subassembly, then the use case is considered 'without tolerance'.

Note: Rehab subassemblies will show the same default values in the Civil Imperial Subassemblies and Civil Metric Subassemblies when you preview them in the Properties palette, regardless of which units of measurement used by your drawing. However, the appropriate metric or imperial values will be displayed in the Rehab Parameters palette depending on the units of measurements used in your drawing.
