General

ProENGINEER/Creo

Under ProENGINEER Start Command, enter information about starting Pro/ENGINEER from the Job Server Monitor, including:

Under Pro/ENGINEER Server Options, control how often to attempt and wait between server connections.
  • Maximum number of connection tries–Specify how many times the client should try to contact the server. Default setting is 10.
  • Wait for next connection try in seconds–How long the client should wait until attempting to contact the server. Default setting is 5.
  • Increase wait time by factor–Increment the length of time the client waits to contact the server with this value. So if the Wait for next connection try in seconds value is set to 5 and this value is set to 1.1, the next attempt will occur after 5.5 seconds.
  • Retrieve all (nested) family table instances–When loading Pro/ENGINEER family tables this option creates all first level and subsequent file iterations.
Note: When selected, users may experience significant loading delays. Deselect this option to create first level iterations only and speed up the loading process.
Tip: This option should be deselected if a number of large nested family parts are being loaded. Nested parts can then be revisited after initial load.
