You can create a new valve gate controller and save it in a valve gate controller database. Valve gate controllers stored in the database can then be selected for use in different studies. If you send your study file to someone else to view, you must also share your valve gate controller database. The valve gate controller will not be saved with the study, unless you
create it in the study.
- Click

- Select
Process Conditions from the
Category drop-down menu.
- Select
Valve gate controller from the
Property type list, then click
OK.
There are several ways you can now create a new valve gate controller.
- Click
New, or...
- You can click
Databases to view existing databases and
Copy it into your database for modification if required, or...
- If you have previously created an individual valve gate controller, you can select it, click
Duplicate, edit it and save it under a new name.
- Save your valve gate controller with a unique name, then click
OK.
- You can now
edit the valve gate controller to meet your needs.
Attention: Once you have created a valve gate controller database, you can then add subsequent valve gate controllers to it, by clicking

(), selecting it from your list of personal databases, and following the options above.
