Create the Mold Boundary

The heat transfer of the system is better simulated if the extent of the mold is defined.

In this task, you use the Mold Block Wizard to create a mold boundary.

1. Click (Geometry > Create > Mold Block).

2. Enter 450 for the X-dimension.

3. Enter 250 for the Y-dimension.

4. Enter 150 for the Z-dimension.

5. Click Finish

   

6. Uncheck the Mold surface (default)(Elements) layer.
