Set the Analysis Sequence and Process Settings

In this task, you will set the analysis sequence to Cool, set the coolant temperature, and complete the Process Settings required to run the analysis.

Analysis Sequence

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Analysis Sequence).

2. Select Cool.

   Note: If you do not see an analysis sequence, click More to see all that are available for the molding process.

3. Click OK.

Coolant temperature

1. Select one of the coolant inlets.

   

2. Right click the inlet icon and select Properties.

3. Set the Coolant inlet temperature to 40° C.

4. Click OK.

5. Set the coolant inlet temperature for the other circuit inlet to 40° C.

Process Settings

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings).

2. Ensure that the Melt temperature is 230° C.

3. Ensure that the Mold-open time is 5 seconds.

4. Set the Injection + Packing + Cooling time to 15 seconds.

5. Click OK.

6. Click (Home > Analysis > Start Analysis).

7. When the analysis is finished, click Logs to close the Logs panel.
