Working with Repair Scripts

In addition to creating and running repair scripts, the Repair Scripts tab in the repair module allows you to load scripts, execute individual repair actions, rearrange script actions, delete scripts, or delete script actions.

Note: All of these actions are available only within a loaded instance of the repair module. Open it by choosing Prepare > Repair Part from the default module's main menu.

To load an existing repair script

  1. In the context view, switch to the Repair Scripts tab.
  2. Click More Actions and choose Load Script.
  3. Browse for the existing script (*.repair) and click Open.

To execute individual repair actions

  1. In the context view, switch to the Repair Scripts tab.
  2. Choose a repair script from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select a repair action.
  4. Click Execute to run the single repair operation in isolation.

To delete a script

  1. In the context view, switch to the Repair Scripts tab.
  2. Choose a repair script from the drop-down menu.
    Note: Default scripts installed with the product cannot be deleted.
  3. Click Delete Current Script.

To delete a script action

  1. In the context view, switch to the Repair Scripts tab.
  2. Choose a repair script from the drop-down menu.
    Note: Default scripts installed with the product cannot be edited.
  3. Double-click Delete next to the repair action to be removed.
