Repair scripts can be created from scratch or by duplicating and editing an existing script.
To create a new repair script
- If not already opened, click
to enter the repair module.
- In the context view, switch to the
Repair Scripts tab.
- Click
New Script.
- Enter a name for the script and click
OK.
- In the context view, select a repair action from the drop-down menu. Available options include:
- Stitch Triangles
- Close All Holes
- Close Trivial Holes
- Remove Double Triangles
- Remove Tiny Shells
- Remove Degenerated Faces
- Invert Negative Shells
- Remove Self-Intersections
- Split-off Self-Intersections
- Fix Flipped Triangles
- Scale
- Refine Triangles
- Reduce Triangles
- Prefix-Suffix
- Wrap Part Surface
- Smooth Triangles
- Z-Compensation
- Sanitize Duplicate Nodes
- Remove Problem Areas
- Click
Add to add the action to the repair script.
- Adjust the specific properties of the action as required.
- Repeat Steps 5-7 until the repair script contains all the desired actions.
Note: When executed, the repair script proceeds through each repair function. You can repeat commands multiple times throughout the repair script.
- Click
Save to save the repair script for later use.
To create a repair script from an existing script
- If not already opened, click
to enter the repair module.
- In the context view, switch to the
Repair Scripts tab.
- Click
More Actions and choose
Duplicate Current Script.
- Enter a name for the duplicate script and click
OK.
- Add and remove repair actions as required to create the new script.
- Click
Save to save the new script for later use.
