View and modify the parameters that define the instance properties of divided paths in a conceptual design.
To change instance properties, select the element and change its properties on the Properties palette.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Nodes | |
| Layout | Specifies how nodes are distributed along a divided path. Either None, Fixed Number, Fixed Distance, Minimum Distance, or Maximum Distance. |
| Number | Specifies the number of nodes used to divide the path. |
| Distance | Specifies the distance between nodes along a divided path. |
| Justification | Specifies where the first node is placed when dividing a path. Either Beginning, Center, or End. |
| Minimum Distance | Specifies a minimum distance range for paths divided by the Minimum Distance layout. |
| Maximum Distance | Specifies a maximum distance range for paths divided by the Maximum Distance layout. |
| Measurement Type | Specifies the length type with which the distance between nodes is measured. Either Chord Length (straight line between nodes), or Segment Length (along the path between nodes). |
| Total Number of Nodes | Specifies the total number of nodes created from division and reference intersects. This is a read-only value. |
| Show Node Numbers | Displays the number of each node when the path is selected. |
| Flip Direction | Reverses the numerical direction of nodes along a divided path. For example, if the path ran left to right. |
| Beginning Indent | Specifies the length of an indent at the beginning of a divided path. Indents are subject to the measurement type. Nodes created by distribution do not extend into indents. |
| End Indent | Specifies the length of an indent at the end of a divided path. Indents are subject to the measurement type. Nodes created by distribution do not extend into indents. |
