Divide a Surface or Path with Named References

Use the named references in a conceptual design to divide geometry for hosting panels or adaptive components.

1. Select the divided path or surface.
2. For paths, click Modify | Divided Path tab Divisions and Intersects panel Intersects drop-down (Intersects List).

   For surfaces, click Modify | Form tab UV Grids and Intersects panel Intersects drop-down (Intersects List).

3. In the Intersecting Named References dialog, select references that will intersect the divided path.

Lines drawn for reference will not display in this list because they are unnamed elements.
