Load Families for Site Designer

Before using Site Designer to create site elements, load content specially designed for use with the add-in.

1. Click Insert tabLoad from Library panel (Load Family).
2. In the Load Family dialog, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Site Designer for Revit <release>\Library.
3. Select one or more families to load.
4. Click Open.

The families are now available when creating elements using Site Designer.

Note: If you want to modify a Site Designer family, do not use the Revit Family Editor. Instead, use the appropriate Site Designer Family Manager, available on the Site Designer tab of the ribbon.
