To Trace the Inner Contour of an Enclosed Area (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. Click Home tabConstruction panel drop-downContour Inside. Find
2. To define the area by selecting the objects on the boundary:
   1. Type S and press ENTER.
   2. Select the objects and press ENTER when you finish.
3. If you want to use any entities on underlying layers as additional boundaries, select them.
4. Click inside the enclosed area. A contour is drawn along the boundary.
