To Trace the Outer Contour of an Enclosed Area (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. Click Home tabConstruction panel drop-downContour Outside. Find
2. Select the objects that bound the area you want to trace.
3. To use any entities on underlying layers as additional boundaries, select them.
4. Press ENTER.
