Define the item numbering settings for the project.

Command entry:
AEPROJECT In the Project Manager, right-click the project name, and select Properties. Select the Components tab and click Item Numbering.
- Per-Component Basis
- The item number applies to the main catalog part number and any multiple catalog values. Separate item numbers cannot be assigned to each multiple catalog value.
- Per-Part Number Basis
- Separate item numbers can be assigned to the main catalog part number and each multiple catalog part number.
Note: Item numbers cannot be assigned to part numbers based on ASSYCODE combinations.
Note: This version of the dialog box is used when the AEITEMRESEQUENCEMODE system variable is set to the default value of 1.
