Define the item numbering settings for the project.

Command entry:
AEPROJECT In the Project Manager, right-click the project name, and select Properties. Select the Components tab and click Item Numbering.

Item Numbering Mode |
Sets item numbering to either project-wide or per-drawing. This setting controls an Item Resequence and the Next>> buttons on any Insert/Edit dialog boxes. |

Item Assignments |
Per-Component Basis. The item number applies to the main catalog part number and any multiple catalog values. Separate item numbers cannot be assigned to each multiple catalog value. Per-Part Number Basis. Separate item numbers can be assigned to the main catalog part number and each multiple catalog part number.
Note: Item numbers cannot be assigned to part numbers based on ASSYCODE combinations.

Note: This version of the dialog box is used only if the AEITEMRESEQUENCEMODE system variable is set to 0.
