To Chamfer a Corner by Specifying a Length and an Angle (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

You can chamfer a corner by specifying the distance on one side of the chamfer and the chamfer angle.

1. Click Home tabModify panelFillet drop-downChamfer. Find
2. Click <Current tab>Chamfer Options panelAngle. Find
3. On the ribbon, in the Chamfer Options panel, check the chamfer length and angle values. To change the chamfer lengths:
   1. Click <Current tab>Chamfer Options panelFirst Chamfer drop-down. Find
   2. Select a value for the first length.
   3. Click <Current tab>Chamfer Options panelChamfer Angle drop-down. Find
   4. Select a value for the chamfer angle.
4. Click an empty space in the drawing area.
5. Select the first line that forms the corner.
6. Select the second line that forms the corner.
7. Press ESC to exit the command.
