References to BOM Items (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

References to BOM items refer to the data listed in the columns of the BOM (or parts list), for a given BOM (or parts list) row. You can refer to any component property visible in the BOM through a reference to a BOM item. For example, if you have a user-defined component property named MY_COMP_PROPERTY, you can refer to it in a formula as MY_COMP_PROPERTY.

ITEM

Refers to the item number of the BOM Item.

QTY

Refers to the quantity of the BOM Item.

NAME

Refers to the NAME component property of the BOM Item.

DESCR

Refers to the description (DESCR) component property of the BOM Item.

STANDARD

Refers to the drafting standard (STANDARD) component property of the BOM Item.

MATERIAL

Refers to the material component property of the BOM Item.

DENSITY

Refers to the density component property of the BOM item.
