Balloon Settings Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use this dialog box to configure the default settings for balloons.

Revision Displays the name and the revision of the standard that controls the default settings of balloons.
Balloon Provides options for setting the appearance for standard based balloons. These options are not available if the balloon style has been set to a custom balloon.
	Balloon type Displays a palette of predefined standard based balloons. The current selection is boxed. Click a balloon to set it as the default.
	Balloon size factor Specifies how many times larger than the balloon text a balloon is.
	Horizontal spacing Sets the horizontal distance (between the centers of two adjacent balloons) that must be maintained when balloons are automatically aligned.
	Vertical spacing Sets the vertical distance (between the centers of two adjacent balloons) that must be maintained when balloons are automatically aligned.
	Arrowhead Sets the arrowhead to be used for the leader termination. A palette containing standard compliant arrows appears to assist you select the desired arrowhead.
	Inset Arrowhead Sets the arrowhead to be used for leaders that do not terminate on object lines or the part reference icon ( ). A palette containing standard compliant arrows appears to assist you select the desired arrowhead.
	Fix balloon position Locks balloons in the place you place them such that they won’t move when the objects they are attached to are moved.
Text Provides options to set the text height and color for standard based balloons. These options are not available if the balloon type style is set to a custom balloon.
	Height Sets the default text height for balloon text. If the current standard is a custom standard, you can specify a non-standard text height. If not, the AutoCAD Mechanical toolset restricts you to selecting a value from the list. Note: If you select the text height labelled "By NameOfStandard", the balloon text height is based on the base height setting in the master settings of the drafting standard. When this option is selected, the balloon text height is always one size larger than the base height setting. If the master settings change, the text height setting for balloons change accordingly
	Color Sets the default color for balloon text. Note: If you select the color labelled "By NameOfStandard", balloon text color is linked to the color corresponding to the "By NameOfStandard" text height (specified in the Object Property Settings dialog box).
Leader Connection Defines where on a custom balloon the leader connects to it. This option is not available if the current balloon style is a standard based balloon.
Restore Defaults Resets all settings to the default settings for the current drafting standard.
