To Set Property Overrides in Files Imported as an AnyCAD Reference

You can specify property overrides for CATIA, NX, Pro-E/Creo, and Solidworks files when the file is imported as a reference file using the Assemble Component Place Imported CAD Files command into an Assembly.

• Override values entered in the iProperties dialog box display as blue.
• Revert the value back to the original value using the context menu option, Value From Source.
• Override values display in the Bill of Materials.

1. Open the iProperties dialog box in one of the following ways:
   • Click File iProperties to display the Properties dialog box for the active file.
   • Right-click a referenced file in the browser, and then select Properties to display the Properties dialog box.
2. In the Properties dialog box, click the Summary, Project, Status, or Custom tab and set the values for the properties that you desire.
3. To revert the value back to the original value, right-click in the value field and select Value From Source from the new context menu.
