Viewer window
The Viewer window enables you view the current scene, select, transform and animate the elements, and set various options for displaying the scene.
Character Controls
The unified Character Controls window help to perform multiple character setup tasks.
Transport Controls
The Transport Controls window lets you create and select takes, play and view the time progression of a scene, set timing, play, and view options, change the start and end of a take, select and view audio tracks on the Action timeline, and manipulate visual keyframes.
Navigator
The Navigator provides access to important animation editors, including the FCurves, Story, and Dopesheet windows.
Key Controls window
Use options in Key Controls window to perform all keyframe-related tasks in your animations including creating, deleting, editing as well as selecting tangent and interpolation modes.

Resources window
The Resources window lest you access the Pose Controls, Properties, Filters, the Asset browser, Groups, and Sets.
Property Editor
The Property Editor lets you create custom views, custom properties, property references, and custom keying groups.
Cycle Creator tool
Use the Cycle Creator to automatically generate an animation cycle from marked start and end frames of animated segment in the timeline. The animation cycle is saved as a new take.
Profiling Center window
Use the Profiling Center to monitor scene performance and pinpoint where performance cost is highest.
Color window
Use the Color window to change the color of lights, models, materials, shading effects, and any other object or an asset with a color property.
Blend Editor
Using the Blend editor, you can change the interpolation of the blend to create a custom blending curve.
Video Compression window
Lets you select different file formats when you select AVI from the Output Format in the Render window.
Compression Settings window
Lets you set the compression options for the render file when you select MOV from the Output Format menu in the Render Settings area and click Render.
Flash Render Options window
This window appears when you render a take with SWF (Flash) selected in the Output Format field.
