This tab contains the following:
Length — The maximum length of each portion of the toolpath.
If you specify a small Length, a confirmation dialog is displayed before continuing.
Click Yes to create all the toolpaths, click No to abandon the operation.
If one or more segments in the original toolpath are longer than the specified Length, some of the toolpaths produced by the divide operation will also exceed the Length. In this case, a warning message is displayed:
Note: Most pattern finishing toolpaths comprise one long segment, unless they are limited. For toolpaths like this, divide by length will have no effect. To enable the toolpath to be divided, use the Edit > Limit command to break the toolpath into several segments.
