Turning

The Turning category on the Strategy Selector dialog contains strategies required to machine a turned part:

The turning strategies are:

• Bore Finishing finish machines a bore in a turned part.
• Bore Roughing rapidly bores a turned part.
• Face Finishing finish machines the face of a turned part.
• Face Roughing rapidly removes material on a face of a turned part.
• Groove Finishing finish machines a turned groove.
• Groove Roughing rapidly removes material in a groove.
• Pattern Turning rapidly removes material in passes specified by the geometry in a pattern.
• Turn Finishing finish machines the turned part.
• Turn Roughing rapidly removes material around the turned part.
