Workplane Transform tab

Use the Transform Workplane tab to move, rotate, or mirror a workplane. This enables you to easily create complex rectangular and circular workplane arrays. PowerMill displays a preview of the transformation which gives a quick visual check before transforming the workplane.

To display the Transform Workplane tab:

• Click Workplane tab > Edit panel > Transform.
• From the individual Workplane context menu, select Transform.

Note: This is similar to the Toolpath Transform tab, Boundary Transform tab, and Pattern Transform tab.

This tab contains the following:

Transform tab

Move — Click to transform the workplane by the specified coordinates.

Rotate — Click to rotate the workplane around the origin of a selected point.

Mirror — Click to mirror the workplane along one of its principal planes or along an arbitrary mirror line.

Multiple — Click to perform multiple moves or rotations.

History tab

Undo — Select to revert to what it was before the last change.

Redo — Select to reinstate the edit you have just undone.

Finish tab

Accept — Click to keep all the workplane transformations and close the Workplane Transform tab.

Cancel — Click to discard all the workplane transformations and close the Workplane Transform tab.
