Specifies the general settings for dimensions.
General Settings
- Display
- Defines the display settings for the dimensions.
- Text height. Specifies the text height of the text style used by dimensions. By default, this sets the text height of the AdskIsoImperial or AdskIsoMetric text style. You can set luprec in the title block editor to set the number of digits displayed.
- Dimension to continuations. Specifies whether the dimension stops by continuation components.
- Hide last string dimension. Removes the last string dimension in a linear piping segment when used with end to end dimensions. Hide the last string dimension to avoid overconstraining the dimensions.
- Show reference dimensions. Specifies whether to show the reference dimension in isometric drawings.
- Gasket Dimensioning
- Specifies one of the following types of gasket handling:
- Include in component dimension
- Dimension gaskets individually
- Do not dimension gaskets
- Dimensions
- Specifies the dimension types for the current selected theme.

End to End (Overall). Measures the piping segments from endpoint-to-endpoint. You can have the measuring stop at valves and branches.

String. Measures overall piping segments, stopping at inline components such as reducers, valves, and so on.

Locating. Measures from a common point to an object's location and then stops. For example, an elbow to a field weld or pipe support.

End to End (Overall). Measures the piping segments from endpoint-to-endpoint. You can have the measuring stop at valves and branches.
- Dimension Offset Distances
- Defines the offset distances of dimensions.
- Offset. Specifies the distance from the pipe line to the closest dimension (first row).

Stacking. Specifies the distance between dimension rows.
