Zoom in schedules, freeze headers and display rows in alternate colors to work easily with large schedules.
Zoom in a Schedule
You can zoom in a schedule to make it easier to read small fonts in a large schedule view. Hold down the CTRL key and use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
You can also hold down the CTRL key and use + / - to zoom in and out of a schedule. As you are zooming in and out, the zoom level percentage displays in the lower right corner of the drawing area.
To return to the original zoom level (100%), hold down the CTRL key and press 0.
Freeze/Unfreeze Header
When working with a large schedule, you can freeze the main header and title rows so they always remain visible in the current schedule view. This allows you to see the header and title, even while scrolling down to lower schedule rows. To lock the headers in place, click the Freeze Header button in the ribbon. You can also right-click a in a schedule and select Freeze Header. To unlock them, click the button a second time. This setting applies only to the current Revit session.
Stripe Rows
You can set alternate rows to display in contrasting colors to make it easier to follow rows in a wide schedule. You can also apply Stripe Rows to a schedule view template or a sheet. Follow the instructions in Display Contrasting Rows in a Schedule.
