About In-Place Walls
In-place walls are created using the same free-form geometry as component families. They are assigned to the Wall category so they are treated as walls when you use certain features such as visibility/graphics control, schedules, and room bounding.
Create an In-Place Wall
Use the In-Place Wall tool to create a wall that you design manually using unique geometry that is not possible with the other Wall tools.
Modify In-Place Walls
After creating an in-place wall, you can modify it by changing properties, changing its shape, or duplicating it.
