New files cannot be created with Data Standard until a templates folder is created in Vault and at least one file template has been added to the folder. This file template is used to create new Vault files.
- Create a folder at the root ($) level of your vault called Templates.
Note: Administrators can specify a different folder for the templates by modifying the XAML file. See Customize Template Folder Path for Data Standard for more information.
- Add one or more templates from which to create files to the templates folder.
After the template has been added, you can use Data Standard to add new files to the vault based on the template.
