Use this dialog box to create a new point-alignment table or to edit variables such as alignment and COGO point selection for an existing table.
The default table lists the location of COGO points as offsets of stations along the specified alignments. You can edit the table structure to include additional data.
Note: Use the Report Settings dialog box to edit the table structure.
Report Settings
Select the Create New option to create new settings, or select existing settings from the drop-down list.
- Create New
- Opens the
Report Setting dialog box so you can specify new settings, using the template for the default table.
- Copy Current Selection
- Copies the currently selected settings, using a default name, for example New Setting (1). Copying before editing preserves the original settings.
- Edit Current Selection
- Opens the Report Setting dialog box and displays the currently selected settings. If you edit these settings and click OK, the new settings overwrite the initial settings. Use Copy Current Selection to preserve the original settings before editing them.
- Delete Current Selection
- Deletes the currently selected settings.
- Export Current Selection
- Saves the current settings to the location you specify so you can re-use the settings for a different
Autodesk Civil 3D drawing.
- Export All Settings
- Exports all settings associated with the current drawing to a specified location.
- Import Settings
- Imports settings to the currently open
Autodesk Civil 3D drawing. Use with the Export Current Selection option to transfer settings files from one drawing to another.
Alignments
Specifies one or more alignments. The pull-down menu lists the alignments in the currently open
Autodesk Civil 3D drawing. Click
to select one or more alignments in the drawing.
AutoCAD Table Style
Specifies the AutoCAD table style to use for the table. Point-Alignment tables are implemented as AutoCAD tables. The default table style is Standard.
Behavior
- Static: Specifies that the table is not updated dynamically.
Note: When a table is set to be static, the table does not update when you make changes in the drawing or when you run the Update Point-Alignment Table command. However, you can run the Edit Point-Alignment Table command to update a static table.
- Dynamic: Specifies that the table changes dynamically if you change the table structure, alignments, or points.
Note: Use the
Update Point-Alignment Table command to update the tables in the drawing if a property such as an alignment name has been changed.
Table Preview
Displays the structure and content of the current table you are creating or editing. The list shows point number, easting, northing, description, alignment name, station, and offset.
Place Table
Inserts the table in the drawing.
Update
This command is available when the Station Offset to Points Report dialog box is opened with the Edit Point - Alignment Table command is used. Updates the table when changes have been made.
