AJA Software Update
Flame Family now supports version 16.2 of AJA software.
- For Linux: The AJA software is installed or updated when you install the DKU. See the DKU topic for more information.
- For macOS: Download and install the AJA Software Installer version 16.2 from
AJA support.
Blackmagic Desktop Video Update
Flame Family now supports version 12.3 of Blackmagic Desktop Video.
To install it, download the installer from
Blackmagic Design.
Removed: Stereoscopic 3D Capture and Play Out
Stereoscopic 3D Capture and Play out are no longer available in Flame Family products.
Important: Stereo 3D monitoring (with single or dual links) is still possible.
Free Timings in Flame Setup
Free timings were removed in Flame Family 2022, but upgrading from an older version still carries over the
_free timings from that version. In Flame Family 2023.0.1, free timings were removed from the
Preview tab of
Flame Setup.
You can now create or edit
free timings.
To set a preview timing to a free sync:
- Open
.
- Open the
Preview tab.
- Find the timing to edit, and
double-click its SyncSource cell.
Tip: Click Duplicate to create a copy of the timing.
- Select the sync.
- (Optional) Double-click the
Description, and add
_free at the end of the description;
1920x1080@25000p becomes
1920x1080@25000p_free. While not required, this modification identifies in the Project Creation window the configurations with a free sync.
- Click Apply.
