Prepare a Model for Design

Ensure that the model fulfills design requirements of a method of calculating internal forces.

1. Ensure that the Robot model fulfills the design requirements of the method that you want to use.
   Note: It is a good practice to ensure that the model fulfills the design requirements of this method before you launch the extension.
   • Design requirements for the Internal Engine method
   • Design requirements for the Robot Structural Analysis method
2. If you modify the model, in Robot, click Analysis Calculations to perform static calculations of the model.
