Place reference points on geometry to guide and anchor geometry development and to drive the shape of geometry in the conceptual design environment.
Surfaces and edges of forms can be used as an alternative work plane for placing hosted points.
To place a reference point on a line, edge, or surface
- Click Create tab
Draw panel
(Point Element).
- Click Modify | LinesDraw panel
(Draw on Face).
- Place hosted points along a spline.
- In the drawing area, place the cursor over a line, edge, or a surface, and click to place hosted points.
Click and drag points to reposition.
