Use the parallel coordinates chart to view all the inputs and outputs of your Generative Design study simultaneously, compare outcomes, and apply filters to identify the outcomes that best meet your criteria.
This chart displays by default in the Explore Outcomes dialog, and you can return to it by clicking Parallel Coordinates.
The parallel coordinates chart can have four types of vertical lines:
Bold lines | Thin lines | Dashed lines | Solid lines |
Bold vertical lines represent the outputs of your study. Outputs indicate resulting values for this outcome. For example, in a Maximize Window Views study, outputs may be the view to outside score and the average angle to windows. |
Thin vertical lines represent the inputs of your study. Inputs show the values used to generate the outcome. For example, in a Maximize Window Views study, inputs may include a room, an element to calculate the view from, and obstruction elements. |
Dashed vertical lines represent constants. |
Solid vertical lines represent variables. |
