Associate a group profile to an Active directory group.
Note: You must be assigned the role of Administrator to perform this operation.
- In the New Group Profile dialog box, click Linked to. If you are editing an existing group, use the Group Profile dialog box.
- In the Link to an Active Directory Group dialog box:
- Select Windows Authentication checkbox to add or edit the Active Directory group name.
- Enter the Active directory group name, or alternatively click Select Domain Group to browse and add the group from the Active Directory domain.
- In the Select Group dialog box, click Locations to specify the domain containing the Active Directory account. In the Locations dialog box, select the domain to use and then click OK.
- In the Select Group dialog box, enter the name of the group to add from the Active Directory domain. Alternatively, click Advanced to search for the groups.
- Once the group has been specified, click OK in the Select Group dialog box. The selected Active Directory domain group is added to the group name.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
