Use this dialog box to create an AutoCAD, Alignment, or Profile element by best fit. You can create the entity from a series of Autodesk Civil 3D points, AutoCAD points, existing entities, or by clicking on screen.
Use this dialog box to select the source objects from which you want to create a best fit element. You may create the following types of elements by best fit:

- Floating Curve
- Free Curve
Profile Elements
- Fixed Straight
- Floating Straight

Input Options
- From COGO Points

Specifies that one or more existing lines, arcs, polylines, feature lines, survey figures, or profile objects will be used for best fit element creation.

- Tessellate Arc Segments

Tessellates the selected sample arc segments.
- Mid-Ordinate Tolerance
