To Convert an AEC Polygon to a Profile
Select the AEC polygon from which to create a profile definition.
Click
AEC Polygon ribbon contextual tab
Convert To panel
Profile
.
Specify the insertion point of the resulting profile, or press Enter to use the centroid as the insertion point.
Enter
n
(New) to create a new profile definition, or
e
(Existing) to replace an existing profile.
Depending on the option selected in the previous step, do one of the following:
(New) In the New Profile Definition dialog box, enter a name and click OK.
(Existing) In the Profile Definitions dialog box, select from the existing profile definitions and click OK.
