To Edit Objects in a Temporary Section View

You can select objects to view and edit in a temporary section view. The section view is not persisted after the edits are finished.

1. Select the objects you want to view in a section view.
2. Click <Object> tabGeneral panelEdit In View drop-downEdit In Section.
3. Specify the first and second points for the section line or press Enterto change the UCS.
4. Specify the extent of the section.
5. Modify the objects in the section view.
6. Click on the Edit in View toolbar to exit the temporary section.
7. Save the changes to your drawing.
