Set the display default preference for the grid |
In the Preferences window, select Display, then set the Grid plane option to Show or Hide. |
If you are working in non-default units, you may not see the grid in perspective view when you first open a file. The problem is that the grid is created at the wrong size. Zooming out will show it. To fix this problem, select Display > Grid > and click the Reset button. Then in the view panel, select View > Default View or press Alt+Home.
