To Insert a Drawing Border and Title Block by Importing a Standard Import File (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Rather than manually specifying drawing borders, scale, and title block attributes, each time you insert a drawing border, you can predefine and pick up the settings from *.tit files.

1. Click Annotate tabSheet panelTitle Border. Find
2. In the Drawing Borders with Title Block dialog box:
   • Click Import.
   • Select the *.tit file to import drawing border and title block information.
   • Select the Perform rescale check box.
   • Select the Move objects check box.
   • Click OK.
3. Specify the insertion point of the drawing border. Click a point in the drawing area, or press ENTER to insert the border at the 0,0,0 point.
4. In the Edit Attributes dialog box, edit or add entries.
5. Click OK.
6. Select objects to center and rescale within the inserted drawing border.
7. Move the selected objects to the desired place in the drawing border.
