To Apply a Tangent Constraint in the Content Editor (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the Authoring Palettes window, in the Geometric tab, click Tangent.
2. Select the two objects to be made tangential.

   The second object maintains a point of tangency with the first object.
