Select Layer Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use this dialog box to assign an existing layer or mechanical layer definition to an object. You can also use this dialog box to create a new mechanical layer definition and assign it to the object.

Creates a new mechanical layer definition. You can name it as soon as it is created.
Deletes the selected layer or layer definition.
List of layers/layer definitions
	Status - Indicates that the row corresponds to a mechanical layer or mechanical layer definition. - Indicates that the row corresponds to a mechanical layer that does not get replicated when a Layergroup is created with the AMLAYERGROUP command. - Indicates that the row corresponds to an AutoCAD layer.
	Name Displays the name of the layer or layer definition. Clicking in this column enables you to rename the layer or layer definition.
	Associated objects Contains the names of the objects that use the layer. This is applicable only to mechanical layers.
	Description Displays an optional description for the layer or layer definition. You must use the AMLAYER command to specify the description.
