Status - Indicates that the row corresponds to a mechanical layer or mechanical layer definition. - Indicates that the row corresponds to a mechanical layer that does not get replicated when a Layergroup is created with the AMLAYERGROUP command. - Indicates that the row corresponds to an AutoCAD layer. |

Name Displays the name of the layer or layer definition. Clicking in this column enables you to rename the layer or layer definition. |

Associated objects Contains the names of the objects that use the layer. This is applicable only to mechanical layers. |

Description Displays an optional description for the layer or layer definition. You must use the AMLAYER command to specify the description. |
