Use the Rotation Anchor options to specify how the model in the CAD view is rotated. Click View tab > View Options panel > Rotation Anchor menu, and select:
View to rotate the model around the whole view, including any parts that are not currently displayed in the CAD view.
Visible View to rotate the model around the centre of the current view.
Origin to rotate the model around the CAD datum.
Selected Point to rotate the model around the rotation anchor. To select the anchor, use one of these methods:
Right-click a feature in the sequence tree and select Rotation Anchor from the context menu. The menu option is unavailable when non-geometric items, such as groups and surface inspection points, are selected.
Click Home tab > Mouse Context panel > Edit Geometrics, right-click a feature in the CAD view, and select Rotation Anchor from the context menu.
Click Home tab > Mouse Context panel > Surface Selector, select one or more surfaces in the CAD view, then right-click and select Rotation Anchor from the context menu. The anchor is located at the centre of the selected surfaces.
The Selected Point option is automatically selected when you specify a rotation anchor.
