Select Home tab > Mouse Context panel > Edit Geometry, to work with the geometric items and inspection points displayed in the CAD view.
To display the name of an item, position the cursor over the feature. The cursor changes to
, the feature is highlighted in yellow, and the item name is displayed.
To select an item in the inspection sequence, position the cursor over a feature and click.
To perform other actions, right-click a feature and choose an option from the context menu. Select:
- Item name to select the item in the inspection sequence. If the cursor is positioned over several items, the names of all them are listed, and the name of the currently highlighted feature is shown in bold. To work with another item, left-click its entry in the list.
- Edit item to view or change the details of the item. If the feature is a geometric item, the item dialog is displayed; if the feature is an inspection point, the
Guided Point dialog is displayed.
- Item visible to hide an item. To redisplay the item, click the light bulb
shown next to its icon in the inspection sequence.
- Play Item to measure the item. If you measure an on-the-fly inspection point, the point is reprojected onto the CAD model. If you measure a guided inspection point, a target is displayed.
- Play with Resume to append points to the item without deleting the existing measurements.
- Reset Item
to delete all probed points from the item.
- Rotation Anchor to use the item as the point around which the CAD view can be rotated.
- Mark Out to use the curve item to mark out a clay model.
- Transform Item to rotate, translate, mirror, or scale the item.
When you right-click a
label, additional options are displayed. Select:
- Label Visible to remove the selected label.
- Label Settings to view or change the settings that control how labels are displayed in the CAD view.
- Rotate Label Clockwise to rotate the label clockwise through 90 degrees.
- Rotate Label Counter-clockwise to rotate the label counter-clockwise through 90 degrees.
Note: The
Label Visible and
Rotate
options are available only when you select View tab > Labels panel > Geometry > Show manual labels.
